TOWSON, Md. - Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will congratulate Towson for being named to CNN Money Magazine's list of best places to live for the rich  and single at the Towson Farmer's Market Thursday.

The magazine listed Towson, which has a singles population of 35.4% and a median income of $102,302, 14th on the list.

It cited Towson's high population of professors from Goucher and Towson University, Friday night block parties and proximity to restaurants as reasons for the honor.

Newport Beach, CA ranked first, with a median household income of  $144,917 and 30 percent single residents.
