MIDDLE RIVER, Md. - If you want to frolic in the sand, you don't have to go far to do it.

There are five beaches in Baltimore County welcoming you with open arms this summer and County Executive Kevin Kamenetz is encouraging you take a visit.

You can have lots of fun while saving lots of money.

New this summer is free admission for children 11 and under at the three beaches operated by the County: Miami Beach (in Middle River), Rocky Point Beach and Oregon Ridge Beach.

There are also plenty of summer activities offered in the County such as waterfront golfing, picnicking, kayaking, dining and more.
