OWINGS MILLS, MD - Susan Slattery was more then just a professor at Stevenson University. She was someone that impacted the community and left an indelable mark.

Tuesday, the community finally got a chance to come together and remember the Department Chair and Professor of Mathmatics. From colleagues to family, everyone had some type of story that had people crying and laughing. They talked about what she meant to the community and what the university meant to her.

It is the latest in a series of memorials and tributes to the professor who was traveling home with her family when a tractor trailer hit their vehicle from behind and forced it into the back of another on an Ohio interstate.
