Several sent to hospital after chemical spill

ESSEX, Md. (WMAR) - Police say several juveniles were taken to the hospital Saturday night after coming in contact with a formaldehyde spill.

The incident happened at Kim's Crypt Haunted Attractions in the 400 Block of Eastern Avenue in Essex.

Police say that a jar containing the chemical was a prop in the attraction.

It was knocked over by one of the people at the haunted attraction. 

 

The jar spilled and caused several injuries.
 
Several juveniles were exposed and taken to an area hospital without serious injuries.
