Scooter driver dies in car collision in Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (AP) - Baltimore County police say a 47-year-old man is dead after his scooter collided with a car in Dundalk.

Police said Dale John Updegraff of the 3700 block of North Point Road, died after his Tao Tao VIP Super Scooter collided with a Pontiac Vibe just after noon on Sunday at Trappe and Church roads.
 
Police say the scooter collided with the Vibe while it was making a left turn from Trappe Road onto Church Road. 
 
Updegraff was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center where he died shortly after 1:00pm. 
 
Police are investigating.
