TOWSON, Md. - Towson University will be unveiling a new memorial for students who have been in the military and those who enter military services in the future.

The university's first-ever Military Appreciation Day will be held Monday in Towson.

Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger is scheduled to attend.

Students are organizing a ceremony that will include a special tribute to Timothy Coyer, a student and infantryman in the Maryland Army National Guard who died last month in Maryland. Coyer served two tours in Iraq and was a member of the University Student Veterans Group.
