OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger is holding a workshop to discuss funding opportunities for Maryland nonprofits and small businesses.
Ruppersberger is hosting the workshop at Stevenson University in Owings Mills on Tuesday.
The Democratic congressman says the workshop is designed to help increase awareness about opportunities available from state and federal grant-making agencies.
Ruppersberger says grant funding from the state and federal levels and from the philanthropic community is becoming increasingly important to the stability and vitality of nonprofits and small businesses.
