School officials say they will scale back the team today.
ABC2's Sherrie Johnson spoke to the nursing supervisor at shock trauma Wednesday morning and Daniel is in critical condition at shock trauma.
15-year-old Robert Gladden Jr is charged as an adult with attempted first degree murder and assault.
He was known as Bobby Gee .
Police say he took a double barrel shotgun to the school in a book bag on his school bus.
Along with the weapon police say he brought 21 16-gauge shells and a bottle of vodka-- which he took several sips from leading up to the incident but he was not intoxicated.
During lunch someone threw something near his table and that's when he set his plan in motion.
Some parents and students admit -- it's tough to return to school.
Gladden is undergoing a mental evaluation at a local hospital. School begins this morning at 7:30am.
