REISTERSTOWN, Md (WMAR) - The Baltimore County Fire Department has identified the woman killed in a house fire as 80-year-old Carolyn Conrad. Conrad died in a house fire at 426 Main Street on August 4.

When fire crews arrived, they reported heavy smoke showing from the rear of the two single-family home.

The fire was determined to have started in a bedroom at the back of the house.

Baltimore County Fire crews acted quickly to knock the fire down and place it under control within 15 minutes.

The fire only reached a single alarm, and used about 40 fire personnel to put it under control.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire but say it was accidental.
