Olive Garden to open in Owings Mills

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Lovers of Italian food have another restaurant option in Baltimore County now.  An Olive Garden opens Monday afternoon in Owings Mills.

The new 246 seat restaurant on Restaurant Park Drive opens for customers are 4 p.m.

According to a press release from the company, the new location used recycled building materials.  It also has larger windows to let in more natural light and energy-efficient equipment.

"We are proud to open the new Owings Mills Olive Garden, which marries environmentally sustainable features with our Tuscan Farmhouse design," said Dan Kiernan, executive vice president of operations for Olive Garden in a press release. "We look forward to welcoming the community into our new restaurant to enjoy our hospitality and our fresh, delicious Italian food."
