Two medical professionals, who examined the body of Yeardley Love, testified Wednesday in a Virginia court – each with conflicting reports on how Love died.
Love, a Cockeysville native and University of Virginia lacrosse player, was found dead in her off-campus apartment last spring. Her ex-boyfriend George Huguely is charged with her murder.
During Wednesday’s testimony Doctor Bill Gormley says blunt force trauma killed her, while medical professional Jack Daniel says it's possible that love died from "cardiac arrhythmia." He says that's because the reports show alcohol and Adderall, which could have made her heart sensitive, were in her system when she died.
Huguely's attorneys say they need Love's medical records to set the record straight.
