WOODLAWN, Md. (WMAR) - A man is dead after suffering injuries from a crash on I-695 Friday night.
State Police say they received a call about an accident on the Outer-Loop of I-695 at the exit for Baltimore National Pike.
According to Troopers with the Golden Ring Barrack, a woman driving a red 2006 Chevrolet Aveo left the roadway for an unknown reason, veered onto the right shoulder, and hit a parked Ford Explored.
There was no driver in the Explorer, police say.
The driver of the vehicle, Mrs. Sandra Rust, was driving with her husband, Mr. Samuel Rust III.
Mr. and Mrs. Rust suffered injuries that landed them in University of Maryland Shock Trauma.
Doctors at Shock Trauma have since declared Mr. Rust dead.
