TOWSON, Md. - One of the biggest killers of women is heart disease.  In fact, studies show two out of three women in this country will die from heart disease.  And the Towson Town Center is holding an event Friday, National Wear Red Day, to try and do something about it. (Check out the video for the story of one mother and daughter who unexpectedly got heart disease.))

Shoppers are encouraged to wear read while at the Towson Town Center today, and from noon until 6 p.m., customers can go to the Grand Court on level one to have their picture taken and explain why they decided to wear red.  For each picture taken, the Towson Town Center will donate $1 to Go Red for Women, up to $5,000.

The center will also give the first 200 people a gift bag with a $10 mall gift card.  All the photos will be put on the mall's Facebook page .

And from noon until 4 p.m., customers can also get free refreshments and blood pressure screenings.
