COCKEYSVILLE, Md. -

A light rail train collided with a car Saturday morning in Cockeysville but no one was hurt, police said.

The crash happened around 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the light rail crossing at Beaver Dam Road and Warren Road. Service was temporarily disrupted and were commuters diverted around the area when a car got stuck in the crossing.

Police said the light rail gate arm came down on the roof of the car and prevented it from moving off the tracks.  The oncoming train clipped the rear of the car. Police said there were no reported injuries.

MTA police are investigating.
