Volunteer firefighter Gene Kirchner was only 25 years old when he bravely gave his life fighting a fire back in April.
Yesterday would’ve been his 26 th birthday.
His family spent part of Friday evening raising money at a tailgate to support the Gene Kirchner Memorial Fund. They spent the second part of their evening at the Baltimore Orioles game to throw out the first pitch.
