CARNEY, Md. - An elderly man crashed his Jeep Cherokee into a Carney Royal Farms after hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake on Friday.

The elderly man driving was trying to park the vehicle and hit the gas instead of the brake, crashing it into the store, located on 2410 E. Joppa Road said police.

The vehicle was almost completely in the building

Both the driver and the adult female passenger were taken to Sinai to be evaluated.  There are no reports of injuries from people in the store.
