Randallstown, Md. - Little Hands Cookie Co. in Randallstown is not your normal neighborhood bakery. Its products aren't made at the hands of professional bakers; rather, it's all the handiwork of local kids.
Children have the chance to come in and get their hands dirty, making cookies of all kinds. But there's a special twist.
"They get to bake and measure out ingredients," says Lisa Wyatt of Little Hands Cookie Co. "But it's fun ingredients--not just regular old flour or sugar, but love and peace and honesty."
Wyatt says she was inspired to open the bakery by her memories of baking with her uncle. Now, she says, she feels her uncle's legacy lives on with every group of kids who comes through the doors.
She says that's because instead of just passing out baked goods to family and friends, they're spreading their love.
