Former RG Steel workers are trying to make the most of the holidays, despite being out of a job.

Former workers gathered Saturday for their annual holiday party. The kids got to have breakfast with Santa, and they received a few gifts from the big guy.

Despite the festive atmosphere, it was an emotional day who know it won't happen again.

"This is out last year," said veteran steel worker Cheryl Pritchard. "Our plant went down. It was sold. So, this will be the last event for us to get together and show our children that we love them."

After filing for bankruptcy, RG Steel sold the Sparrows Point Plant to Hilco Industries.

Hilco is now selling the plant for parts and plans to tear down what's left.
