REISTERSTOWN, Md. - Firefighters pulled a woman from a burning home in Reisterstown early Wednesday morning.
The fire on Blake Court broke out around 1 a.m. and completely gutted the home.
Witnesses tell ABC2 News that firefighters pulled one woman from the home. According to Baltimore County Fire, she was taken to Northwest Hospital in critical condition. The woman, who is in her 60's, suffered severe burns over 50-percent of her body. She has since been moved to Bayview Burn Center.
The initial call to firefighters said there were several people in the home, including a child. Rescue crews thoroughly searched the home and said the woman was the only one home at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
