DUNDALK, Md. (WMAR) - Baltimore County Fire crews are trying to figure out what caused an electrical fire in a power transformer.
The fire started at 8201 Eastern Boulevard in Dundalk.
Baltimore County Fire officials say that a transformer box caught fire at a river waste treatment plant.
Foam trucks and other fire equipment responded to the scene and were able to extinguish the fire that was put out in less than an hour.
One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment of heat exhaustion.
Officials say the fire did not disrupt power service to any customers in the area, just the plant was affected.
