PARKVILLE, Md. - A woman was struck and killed by a car early Tuesday in Parkville, according to Baltimore County Police.
It happened on Loch Raven Boulevard near Deanwood Road just after 5:30 a.m.
The victim has been identified as 78-year-old Renee Else Thomas of Wycombe Way. Police say the driver of the vehicle was a 50-year-old Loch Hill Road resident.
Officials say the driver was traveling north on Loch Raven and Thomas was on the cross walk during a green light. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges will be filed against the driver. Police say the incident was a pedestrian error.
