Baltimore - The victim of the fatal car accident in North Baltimore Saturday night has been identified as 24-year-old Kaitlynn Eileen Fisher of Towson.
A preliminary investigation by Baltimore City Police revealed that Fisher was driving northbound on the 2700 block of N. Calvert Street when she drove through an intersection and was hit by an SUV.
When Fisher’s car, a Honda Insight, was hit it was pushed onto a curb and head-on into a light pole.
Fisher, who had serious head injuries, was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the Ford Explorer SUV that hit Fisher’s, Ronald Kevin Hope, was not injured in the incident.
The accident is still under investigation, but police have defined the incident as a vehicular homicide.
