TIMONIUM, Md. - They put their lives on the line everyday to protect our safety. And on Friday people will gather to honor those fallen heroes who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
The program kicks off around 1 p.m. at Delaney Valley Memorial Gardens on East Padonia Road in Timonium.
The ceremony starts with a procession of honor guard units from across the street, and many speakers are expected including Governor Martin O’Malley and Raven’s head coach John Harbaugh.
Organizers expect upwards of 1,300 guests at the ceremony, which is open to the public.
The event is at the Fallen Heroes Memorial at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. If you are interested in attending, just look for the big white tent.
