Full closures of Campbell Boulevard between Honeygo Boulevard and Franklin Square Drive are expected overnight Monday, February 18 through Thursday, February 21.
The closures, officials say, will be between midnight and 5 a.m.
In addition, there will be periodic 15-minute closures at the same time on the I-95 bridge over Campbell.
The closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) I-95 Express Toll Lanes Project and involve the reconstruction/widening of the existing I-95 bridge over Campbell Boulevard.
Campbell Boulevard will also be widened to five lanes – two lanes in each direction and a new center left-turn lane into Nottingham Square -- for improved traffic flow.
A new pedestrian sidewalk along Campbell is also expected.
The project is expected to be complete in 2014.
