ESSEX, Md. - The District Courthouse in Essex closed at noon Thursday due to a sewage leak.
An official at the courthouse, located at 8914 Kelso Drive, said all afternoon cases are postponed. However, the courthouse was able to get through the morning docket.
The courthouse representative said there had been work done this weekend on the sewage lines, but didn't know if that work was connected to the current leak.
