One person was killed in a crash early Thursday in Arbutus, according to Maryland State Police.
It happened just before 7:15 a.m. along the eastbound of Interstate 195 at Interstate 95.
The person killed has been identified as 20-year-old Kenneth L. Kirtz of Srpy Island Road in Joppa. He was pronounced dead at the scent by medical personnel from the Baltimore County Fire Department.
Investigators say Kirtz's car became airborne and struck another vehicle. The 37-year-old man in that other vehicle, officials say, is in critical condition.
Kirtz was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash caused heavy delays in the area.
