DUNDALK, Md. (WMAR) - Baltimore County Police are asking motorists to avoid the area of North Point Blvd. and Baltimore Street due to a major accident that injured at least 8 people.
The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. and involved 8 vehicles.
Officials say they have transported a total of 9 people to area hospitals. At least one person had critical injuries and was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma , the rest all suffered non life threatening injuries. One person refused medical treatment.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area while police clean up and investigate the crash.
