COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WMAR) - The Mayan calendar projected that Friday was supposed to be the end of the world.

After surviving the Mayan apocalypse, why not celebrate with a cupcake?

The Flavor Cupcakery, the business that won Cupcake Wars last year, sold "I survived the end of the world" cupcakes.

"We survived, we thought we would and we made special cupcakes for today which says i survived 2012," said Jill Ambridge, Manager of Flavor Cupcakery in Baltimore County.  "It's a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and raspberry chambord whipped cream topping," she said.

Customers we talked to said the "end of the world" cupcakes tasted delicious.
