REISTERSTOWN, Md. (WMAR) -- Baltimore County Police arrested and charged a 59-year-old Carroll County man earlier this week.
Police say Michael S. Almony, of the 3300 block of Old Gamber Road, was caught on tape as he repeatedly ran over a kitten with his truck in Reisterstown.
It happened on April 11, 2012 at about 6:45 p.m. in a parking lot near Main Street earlier this month (May), and an anonymous person dropped off video to the Reisterstown precinct.
In the video you see Almony throw a moving object to the ground, get into his blue or gray Ford pick-up truck, and back over the object a total of three times before pulling off.
Almony is charged with animal cruelty and mutilation of an animal. He has been released on a $10,000 bail.
