Several schools in the Baltimore area suspended after school programs Tuesday in response to the threat of severe weather.
Much of the state was placed under a Tornado watch early in the day, and coastal flooding affected areas of Baltimore, specifically eastern Baltimore County.
As a result, at around 2 p.m., districts in the Baltimore area began to cancel after school activities.
As of 2:56 p.m. the following districts had suspended after school activities:
Anne Arundel County Public Schools, Baltimore County Public Schools, Cecil County Public Schools, Harford County Public Schools, Kent County Public Schools
