KINGSVILLE, Md. - A man has died, and several others were injured in a crash between a truck and car in Kingsville say Baltimore County Police.

It happened just before 6 a.m. on Philadelphia Road at Bradshaw Road.

Baltimore County Police say that a Chevrolet pickup was traveling west on Philadelphia Road, nearing Pfeffers Road when a Mazda Protege was traveling east on Philadelphia Road from Pfeffers. The truck crossed the center line, then struck the Mazda head-on.

A male passenger from the Mazda, identified as 26-year-old William Strayer, Jr., was taken to Franklin Square, where he was pronounced dead.

The male drivers of the Chevrolet truck and the Protege were both taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Medivac Helicopter.

The incident is under investigation.

Philadelphia Road is now closed between Pfeffers Road and Bradshaw Road.  Use Route 40 instead.
