BALTIMORE - A spokesperson for the Baltimore City Public School system has confirmed that widespread cheating has been found in two city elementary schools.
Investigators with the Maryland Department of Education found widespread cheating on the Maryland State Assessment Test at Abbottston and Fort Worthington Elementary Schools.
This is the second time in a little more than a year that officials have had to deal with cheating in the Baltimore City System .
Dr. Nancy Grasmick, the Maryland State Superintendent of Schools and Dr. Andre Alonso, CEO of the Baltimore City Public School System will hold a news conference at 1:30 Thursday to provide more information.
