BALTIMORE (WMAR) -

Two men have pled guilty for walking into a southeast Baltimore bar, drawing a gun and shooting a man.

Alberto Ramos and Erasmo Sandoval both pled guilty yesterday to attempted first degree murder and use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime.

On July 14, 2012, Ramos and Sandoval entered the Rancho Blanco Bar on Fagley Street, pulled out handguns and pointed them and the male victim.

A struggle ensued and ended when Ramos shot the man. Both Ramos and Sandoval tried to run away, but patrons of the bar grabbed Ramos and detained him, whereas Sandoval was arrested outside the bar as he tried to get into his vehicle.

The victim survived, but did suffer injuries.

The State sought a 20-year prison sentence for both Ramos and Sandoval, however a judge sentenced Ramos to 25 years in prison with all but 10 years suspended followed by 3 years of probation and Sandoval to 20 years in prison with all but 7 years suspended followed by 3 years of probation.
