The Grand Prix weekend isn't just for folks who live fast cars and a lot of noise.
They've made it a family event a special way to spend the weekend with your kids.
In between practice runs and qualifying heats on this sun-soaked afternoon at the Baltimore Grand prix, families were making sure they didn't miss out on this fast field of fun.
The Family Fun Zone here is loaded with activities to keep you and your kids occupied in between those very loud and very fast Indy Car races.
On dad we talked to said, "He's having a blast, he's watching the cars he gets to see everything. He keeps asking to see the red target car that won Indy
500. So he's enjoying it."
The Jackson family is down from Philadelphia. Mrs. Jackson told us, "We're having a ball. There's a lot going on. He's kinda associating with cars and enjoying every moment."
Mr. Jackson said, "He's gone on the rides, watched the race cars, played with the slot cars."
You can find the Grand Prix Family Fun Zone is inside the track at McKeldin Square, just across the street from Harborplace.
