BALTIMORE - Little Italy is home to one of Baltimore's best festivals and it is happening this weekend.
The St. Gabriel Festival at St. Leo’s is running on August 18-19 in Little Italy.
After the 9:30 mass at St. Leo the Great Church, festival attendees with process through the streets with a statue of St. Gabriel. Attendees can enjoy great music and food including grilled sweet sausage, meatball subs, fried dough, pizza, and seafood.
Saturday entertainment
The Mondaldi Brothers will provide live entertainment on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. and Mixed Company will perform from 4 to 8 p.m.
Sunday entertainment
Small Miracle with Michele Petti will perform from noon to 4 pm. And Park Avenue with Chicky Peluso will perform from 4 to 8 pm..
Bocce Tournament
The Singles Bocce tournament will take place on Saturday. Entry is a $10 donation to St. Leo’s Church. The Team Tournament will allow 16 4 person teams to compete. Each team will need will need $40 to enter. Contact Dino Basso at 410-536-0886 for more details and to enter.
