BALTIMORE - According to research and analysis conducted by business and financial publication company Kiplinger, the Charm City is among the top cities in America for singles.

How did they do it?

According to the report found on Kiplinger.com , they looked at metropolitan areas with high percentages of unmarried people and then “focused on the financial factors of single living.”

The Kiplinger approach to the best city for singles is one that weighs the ability to have a good date for little out of pocket.

Kiplinger reports the average date-night tab in Baltimore is $37.19 .  As far as attractions, they mention bars and restaurants on the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards and the National Aquarium.
