Many pet owners got their pets all dressed up and took them to the American Visionary Art Museum for their Pets on Parade on Wednesday morning.

It's their 4th of July Pets on Parade event.

The pets are competing for trophies in best costume, most patriotic, most visionary, pet owner and pet look-a-likes.

They're also competing in least likely to succeed as a pet, visionary pet tricks and much more.

Pets are also competing in a pet talent show and pet musical chairs.

The Pets on Parade event started with registration at 9:30 am and is free to the public.

The American Visionary Art Museum is located at 800 Key Highway in Baltimore.
