BALTIMORE - One man is dead after crashing in a stolen car in South Baltimore.
Baltimore City Fire Department spokesperson Kevin Cartwright said the crash happened at I-295 and Annapolis Road around 3:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The man driving the car was traveling South on 295, entered the exit ramp at Westport Avenue, and then struck the curb, which flipped the car and ejected him.
The car then landed on the man and it went up in flames.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The circumstances around the crash are unclear at this time, but police say that the car was stolen on June 24.
I-295 South was closed in the area during the cleanup and investigation.
