BALTIMORE -

Firefighters have doused the flames that spread across two houses, damaging what fire officials call five apartments.

The fire started at around 7:20pm in the 4700 block of Schley Avenue in Northeast Baltimore. That's not far from the intersection of Moravia Road and Walther Avenue.

Officials say everyone was able to get out safely, and one person is being treated for minor smoke inhalation.

No word yet on what sparked the fire, or how much damage it caused.
