BALTIMORE - There will be no more public discussion about adding parking spaces to Patterson Park; the remaining three meetings have been canceled.

This decision comes just two days after the first of what was supposed to be four meetings, to talk about adding 100 new parking spaces inside the park.

This would help out a senior center in the area.

Hundreds of people attended Monday’s meeting, mostly to speak out against the plan.

Lawmakers say they clearly got how the community felt with just that one meeting.

Now a working group has been formed to discuss if the plan will move forward or not.
