A local t-shirt company is looking to crank out production on a tribute to Torrey Smith's performance in last Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.
Low Pro Graphics hoped to being production on the new shirt with the words "Tor-rey, Tor-rey, Tor-rey Wednesday at their facility in Parkville. But, the brakes have been thrown on the deal as representatives of the company say they want to be sure they have Smith's approval before the shirts hit sale racks.
Smith played an outstanding game on Sunday, even after learning his younger brother Tevin Jones was killed in motorcycle accident.
Smith has also recently been in the media spotlight after a Patriots fan made fun of the death on her Twitter account.
Jones was riding a 2006 Yamaha when he ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole on Chatham Lane according to a Virginia State Police report.
Fred Fillah of Low Pro Graphics says if the company gets a tumbs up from Torrey's agent, plans will move forward to distribute the shirts to stores throughout the area and sell them online.
