BALTIMORE - A naturalization ceremony will celebrate the legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
About 25 new citizens will be sworn in at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ceremony on Wednesday at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture. The theme of the ceremony is "Enriching the American Dream: The Celebration of a Legacy."
The new citizens being sworn in originally come from Ethiopia, South Korea, Colombia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Kenya, Canada, Jamaica, Gabon, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, the Philippines and Liberia.
Baltimore District Director Gregory Collett will administer the Oath of Allegiance and Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector Douglas Smith will deliver the keynote address.
