Baltimore - Maryland Transit Administration spokesman Terry Owens has confirmed that investigators believe a car with four passengers drove into an MTA bus with 15 passengers on board at about 9:30 p.m. Monday night.
The accident, which happened on the 800 block of Patterson Park Avenue near Madison Street, injured at least 19 people.
Medical personnel from Baltimore City transported the injured passengers to a hospital.
The crash is still under investigation, but MTA believes that the driver of the car that hit the bus had run a red light.
