BALTIMORE - Fire ripped through the historic Mt. Washington Tavern on Halloween 2011, but its reconstruction is moving full speed ahead, and you can now help.
The framing, and roofing is already up and the electrical system will be worked on soon. The Tavern staff is hoping that they will reopen in September.
The Mt. Washington Tavern Neighborhood Pride Program is offering community members a way to help rebuild the Tavern while helping support children’s health in Baltimore.
Want to help? You can buy a customized brick that will be used in the entrance of the rebuilt Mt. Washington Tavern for $75.
Proceeds will support the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, and will help rebuild the Tavern.
