BALTIMORE - A preliminary hearing has been set for 20-year-old Keith Robertson.

He's the man charged with attempted murder in the shooting of 19-year-old football player at Morgan State University.

Investigators say the incident was not a random act of violence, but rather a targeted attack.

The incident they say stemmed from a prior dispute.

The victim was shot several times.

Police say Robertson did confess to the shooting.

Along with the attempted first degree murder, he faces assault and various handgun related charges.
