BALTIMORE (AP) -

Travis Davidson rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns to help Morgan State edge Sacred Heart 30-27 in a quadruple-overtime game Saturday in the season opener for both teams.

Morgan State trailed 21-17 before Davidson scored from 1 yard out to give the Bears a 24-21 advantage with 3:36 left. Sacred Heart's Chris Rogers, however, converted a 28-yard field goal with 49 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

The teams exchanged field goals in OT, but after Chris Rogers missed wide left from 35 yards out, Morgan State ran the ball six straight times to set up the game-winning 20-yard field goal from Ervin Gonzalez.

Gonzalez converted two of three overtime field goals while Rogers made just one of three attempts.

Sacred Heart's Tim Little was 24 of 50 with Rock Tate catching seven passes for 124 yards. Little finished with 266 yards but threw two costly interceptions.
