BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Thousands of fans from the Baltimore area and surrounding areas came out to celebrate today during the Baltimore Ravens Victory party.

The party was a welcoming ceremony for the entire Baltimore Ravens team that took place on the cobblestones of City Hall as players arrived to participate in a parade that ended at M&T Bank Stadium.

Preliminary assessments suggest that at least 200,000 fans showed up at the celebration to support the Ravens.

Fans converged on City Hall, War Memorial Plaza and filled the streets.

Thousands of fans were not allowed to enter the stadium as if had eventually reached its safe capacity.
