BALTIMORE - The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has announced the first case of West Nile Virus in the state this year.
According to health officials, they expect to see cases pop up in Maryland every year.
Symptoms of the virus include fever, headache, body aches, skin rash, and swollen lymph glands.
They usually appear within two weeks of an infected mosquito bite.
