Man shot, hospitalized in Baltimore City

BALTIMORE (WMAR) -  

Baltimore City Police are investigating a shooting that sent a southwest Baltimore man to the hospital Saturday.
 
Officers arrived on the 500 block of Coventry Road, after receiving calls of gun shots fired.
 
Police say they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
 
He was transported to an area hospital.
 
Homicide detectives are investigating because of the seriousness of the victims injuries, police say.
