Local Catholics honor new pope

BALTIMORE -  

On Friday, the Catholic community in Baltimore will honor the Pope.

The staff at the Basilica will hang bunting form the main entry doors.  It is Yellow and White.

Those are the colors of the Vatican City Flag and they show that a new pope has been chose.

It will be up at least through Tuesday when Pope Francis is officially installed as the new leader of the Catholic Church.

Meantime, on Friday, Pope Francis will hold a mass with the cardinals, and on Saturday he is expected to meet with the media.
